Capital District Youth
Rugby
is the home for high school age tackle rugby in
New York
State
's Capital District . CDYR was incorporated as a not for profit organization in New York State in 2007 and marked our inaugural season with the formation of the Albany Bulldogs (boys) and the Saratoga Mustangs (girls and boys) teams. Over 150 players took part in this exciting sport this past spring.
In the spring of 2008, CDYR will be expanding with the addition of a girls team in
Albany
and both boys and girls teams for
Rensselaer
and
Schenectady
. Interest meetings for both established teams and forming teams will be taking place starting in January, 2008. Keep tuned to this site for more details or contact:
